Vision and Values

This is our vision:

We want all our children to leave Snitterfield as curious, inspired young people who have a sense of their own self-worth and are able to contribute positively to society.

Curiosity: We aim to stimulate a life-long love of learning in our children through a rich, diverse and exciting curriculum. By giving our children the confidence and skills needed for their future we support children to become resilient young people.

Inspiration: Our staff are dedicated to providing a safe, nurturing and happy environment, where individual differences are recognised and valued and diversity is celebrated. Staff encourage all children to recognise and fulfil their own potential.

Self-worth: Every child should have a belief in their own self-worth. We aim to achieve this by empowering them to take ownership of their own learning, by promoting physical and mental wellbeing and by encouraging them to have high expectations for themselves. We work in close partnership with families to develop trusting relationships that give every child the chance to succeed.

Society: We give our children the skills they need to make a positive contribution to society. By promoting tolerance and celebrating the diversity in our country, we promote respect for all.

The school is committed to the safeguarding of children. The safety of our children is everyone’s responsibility and we are committed to working in partnership with families and outside agencies to ensure this.
