Our aim; to raise funds that will benefit all children at Snitterfield Primary School, through enrichment activities and learning.

Foss News September 2025 - Welcome from the Chair.

Hello everyone,

I’m Olivia (Rosie’s mum Y1) and I’m delighted to step into the role of Chair of Friends of Snitterfield School (FOSS) - our PTA. This year we have a team of four committee members to oversee activities, finances and funding requests - thank you Karen (Daisy’s mum Y4), Laura (Sophie’s mum Y1) and Mike (Erin’s dad Reception) - alongside a group of wider members, including the wonderful Class Reps!

FOSS is all about coming together as parents and carers to raise funds or lend a helping hand to give our children extra opportunities—from trips and books to play equipment and events or support that make school life even more special. The more of us who get involved, the lighter the load, the greater the fun and the bigger the impact. 

We’d love to welcome as many of you as possible to join in—whether it’s helping at an event, sharing an idea, or just lending a hand when you can. Every little bit makes a big difference, and together we can achieve so much for our children. You can find out more under ‘Get Involved’ and view our calendar below.

Our next meeting is at the Snitterfield Sports & Social Club on 9th October from 6pm if you’re able to drop in and hear more - it’s a great opportunity to build friendships and a sense of community.

I’m really looking forward to meeting more of you and working side by side to make this year fantastic.

Get Involved!

We’d love it if you and any family members could indicate dates or activities you’re happy to help with. We’re looking for a minimum of five helpers at each activity for it to go ahead - you’ll be given plenty of support! You can view the list of proposed activities and sign up here  - including discos, Christmas activities and a brand new Repairs Team for school grounds.

Committing to one event would be great, more would be even better, though any contribution you make will be greatly appreciated by FOSS and (most importantly) the children!
