Supporting the school
We are often asked how parents can help and we welcome parent helpers in school.
If you have regular free time, you could come into school to listen to readers, join in Gardening Club or Eco Group, or help in Forest School sessions. Please speak to class teachers if this is something that you would like to do. We do require all volunteers to undertake a DBS check (for Safeguarding reasons) but this is quick and easy to do.
Alternatively, you can support the school through the PTA, Friends of Snitterfield School, who organise fundraising events for the school and the community.
You can also share your vocational experience. We have had a class trip to Birmingham Airport, organised by a parent/pilot and also an in-house pottery exercise thanks to a parent/potter.
Support for Parents
Warwickshire has an active FAMILY INFORMATION SERVICE which supports parents across the county on a wide range of services. You can visit their website at www.warwickshire.gov.uk/fis or click on the link below to access their latest parent leaflet.
